Most of us must have surely read Shri Kanhaiyalal Munshi’s “Patan ni Prabhuta”, “Gujarati No Naath” and “Rajadhi Raj”. Like Gujarat & Patan, Tana under the grace of Bhagwan Shri Chandraprabhu Swami also has an ancient history of about 200 years.

Many years ago, the first meeting of Gohilwad district was held in Jaspara while the second one was held in Tana. Tana also has Shri Chandrajin Vidyalaya and Jain Pathshala since ages. People used to travel from nearby areas on foot, through bullock carts or on horses to study in the Vidyalaya. This shows that Tana has always been on the forefront of development. Even today, when everyone is involved in their busy lives, it goes without saying that our family, sangh and samaj is united & we take pride in it.
